Blame it on global warming but one day you're sporting shorts and a t-shirt while the next you've hidden your hair under a babushka. Whatever your reasons, your hair is probably suffering the effects of too much heat/wind/bad color (you sister told us)/ugly hat syndrome.
Here's what we advise:
DEEP condition- If you're ready to really indulge (go ahead- we dare you) wet your hair slightly and comb Philip B White Truffle Nourishing Hair Conditioning Creme through starting just below the roots and through 'til ends. For extra conditioning wrap saran wrap around the tips of your hair and leave on for 5-10 minutes. At $75.00 a pop, this stuff is as expensive as, um, truffles, but our hair has never looked good during winter months.
TREAT baby fine hair - L'oreal Professional Texture Expert Smooth Essence was developed and inspired by catwalk hair- those incredibly polished and stylized looks that are made to be photographed but not necessarily touched. Smooth Essence is ideal for baby fine hair, warm a little in your palms and then work through damp hair. Blow dry or style as usual for soft, shiny, non flat and decidedly non frizzy hair. $21.95 for 5 oz.
GROOM your locks- Whether you twist, twirl or dread your locks, Loc Butter by Carol's Daughter will keep your style looking soft and shiny not winter fuzzy. $15.50 for 8 oz.
